Our Swim Programs
Each child is unique and many different factors determine how quickly the child will learn to swim, including the child’s developmental stage, any previous experience in and around the water, as well as the child’s ability to adjust to a new environment. Please be patient and do not expect your child to make equal progress during each lesson. It is normal for a child’s learning to resemble a series of spikes and plateaus. However, we believe that many small steps lead to great achievements, as well as lasting self-confidence.
Anderson’s style of teaching keeps our students swimming, smiling and safe in the water!

We teach two different styles of freestyle. Recreational freestyle and a competitive freestyle. Our students will be taught that the recreational freestyle stroke should be used in lakes, rivers and oceans and competitive freestyle would be used if they were in a swim race at a pool. A good example we like to share with our students are comparing the style and speed of a long distance runner to that of a 50 yard sprinter runner. A long distant runner could never run at sprinter’s speed before tiring him or herself out and vice versa. We feel that it is important for us to teach our students why and when they will need to choose the correct stroke for different swimming situations.
